They separated us by

Turning us against one and other

By denying our wants and wishes to fit see

Denying our spirit to ride free

As the horses we once rode on, bareback

With bow and arrow in hand

We roamed free throughout the land

But with a leash of tyranny they reigned us in

Turning our flow into negative sin

Now our oppressors are long dead

But their stories remain in our hearts and head

So we beat each other back in a chain gang

Just as the old bell long rang

With control and contort

Silent voice, no retort

For those who can see and feel

Are all cut out of the deal

To make change and do

With our own crew

We are all one in the same

To challenge this, a foolhardy game.
