In a vessel of white
With a bright light
Focus is fixed
The clock ticks
I stand in the centre
No longer a pretender

With my truth within
No god to begin
What I must complete
This grand feat
In my left hand: blue ice flame
Too cool to tame
In my right: red hot fire
Running through nervous wire

Coursing through my matter
As the laugh of a mad hatter
Drinking down purple tea
As my being begins to flee
In particles of dark light
My soul takes flight
I am no longer here
But in the land of the seer

Until the flames return once more
To even the score
And I am whole in my den
Both the egg and hen
The pieces now back up on the wall
After having such a great fall
The king’s men fell from their reign
And here I begin, again
